The truck

Rates

• Pool filling: \$ $250 per load (12,000L)
• No travel charge within 30 km; $ 0.50 per km after that (confirmed on enquiry).
• Cart hire and dust suppression: priced per job, confirmed on enquiry

Dry hire - clear responsibilities

Hire Solutions supplies and maintains the water truck as plant. The hirer controls the worksite and operation during dry hire and must provide a competent, appropriately licensed driver; complete site inductions and task planning; comply with traffic management and site rules; confirm the proposed water source and use are lawful; obtain any required permissions, approvals or consents; prevent contamination and environmental harm; complete daily operational checks; and immediately report defects, incidents and damage.

Health and safety duties cannot be contracted out. Each PCBU remains responsible for the matters it can influence or control and must consult, cooperate and coordinate where duties overlap.

Hire terms form part of every quotation, booking and hire. Acceptance can be recorded electronically. Where Hire Solutions sends a quotation, booking confirmation or hire terms and the customer instructs delivery, takes possession of the truck, permits work to commence, or otherwise proceeds with the hire after receiving those terms, that conduct will be treated as acceptance of the terms to the fullest extent permitted by law. A signed paper copy is not required where acceptance is otherwise established.
